PURE Dance - March

This is a unique dance experience. There's no steps to follow, there's no one trying to talk to you, there's no uncomfortable clothes or shoes! It's a space devoted to freeform dance. What's that mean? It means there are no rules on how you can move. Just move. Or don't move. It's really up to you! But the music I will be playing will probably make you want to move! 

I take you on a musical journey through movement. We start slow and warm up the body. Then it moves to faster beats and harder drops. In the end I bring you down gently until we are all lying on the floor in silence. Afterwards, I allow space for community connection. If you wish you can stay and chat or just chill. The music is heavily electronic, but spans many genres from future funk, to drum and bass, to ethereal sounds. It's all over! And I promise it will make you want to dance! 

As a Tantra Teacher, I wanted to find spaces I could let loose and be primal and wild and free. A place to howl and crawl and burst open. For me, this is dance. I had no experience in holding an event like this but I had been to some ecstatic dances before and thought Bremerton could use it! So how do we create this space? There's no talking once we begin. Shoes are optional and encouraged to take off! There's no phones or cameras. And since there are no rules for how you should dance, there's no room for judgement! It's a beautiful space that is co-created by all of us together. 

This dance will mark the ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of me putting on these PURE Dance events in Bremerton!! Join me for a wild ride to celebrate finding so many beautiful people to dance with right here in this little town!
